Chili/Sloppy Joe MixSloppy Joe Recipe

Make your chili/sloppy Joe mix as you would normally then add ¼ to ½ a cup of Loretta’a Best BBQ sauce. My chili/sloppy Joe mix is never quite right until I add a little Loretta’s.

Baby Back Ribs

BBQ Ribs RecipeRibs, it’s the main reason my mother created this BBQ sauce. You can cook you ribs anyway you want to and if you use Loretta’s Best they will turn out great. Here is how I cook them. First I boil the ribs in water until the ribs start to shrink from the end of the bone and most of the fat is boiled away. This can take 30 to 45 minutes. Then I start grilling them. When you start to see the remaining little fat pieces start getting golden brown or crispy you know the ribs are pretty much cooked then I start putting the Loretta’s on. I brush it on and get it in all the little nooks and crannies. When the sauce starts to bubble it is caramelizing and I turn them over and brush some Loretta’s on the back side as well. I repeat this process and put 2 to 3 layers of Loretta’s on and by the time you are done its like eating candy. This is my favorite way to eat Loretta’s Best. Enjoy!

Cocktail wieners

Cocktail Wieners RecipeBuy any brand of wieners you want and if you follow this recipe they will always turn out great. The most important thing is the cut them in half before you cook them. Cook them for about 45 minutes to an hour in a crock pot then drain off the liquid and add some Loretta’s. This allows the flavor to get inside the wieners. Add the sauce a little at a time and let the brown sugar and honey melt, this way you don’t have to use as much sauce. Stir them often. If you want them to caramelize just cook them longer. The longer you cook them the darker they get.

Pheasant Kabobs RecipePheasant Kabobs

Make your kabobs with as many vegetables as you want. I like to use orange peppers, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. Add small pieces of pheasant wrapped in bacon between the vegetables. If you like a little more crunch add some water chestnuts. Grill the kabobs until they are almost done then start brushing on a some Loretta’s. When the sauce bubbles, it is caramelizing so you can add another layer. One or two layers of sauce and they are ready to eat.

Pulled Pork/Beef Sandwiches RecipePulled Pork/Beef Sandwiches

Take any pork or beef roast and cook it in a crock pot or roaster for 3 to 4 hours. Drain the liquid pull apart the meat and start adding Loretta’s gradually allowing the brown sugar and honey to melt. Some people like to mix beef and pork together, which is also very good. If after cooking the meat and draining the liquid the meat seems a little dry just add some water. The sauce needs just a few minutes to heat up and melt, then pile it on a fresh baked roll and enjoy!
